About NHI Library
Our library was established in 1984 and has grown with the development of the institute. Its aim is to provide ready access to contemporary medical information and literature to the faculty, postgraduate students and research workers of our hospital using conventional "paper" sources such as journals and books as well as the latest "electronic" technology of Internet access, DVDs, CDs and Videocassettes. The library is situated in the basement of the Administrative Block.
Services
The Library offers the following services
- Periodical Alert Service - A monthly listing of the new issues of periodicals received in the library.
- Reprographic Services
- CD - ROM Print Out Services
- Free Internet
- Bibliographies on Demand - The Staff of the Library compiles bibliographies requested by the readers.
- Audio-Visual Section - The audio-visual section is equipped with VHS Player, Projector, latest multimedia computer with facilities for playing DVD, CDs etc.
